Activity: English Game Carnival and English Speaking Days
Time: recess and lunchtime
Venue: Campus
Aims:
- To nurture and cultivate interest in learning English through the English Fun Day lunch activity. Representatives from each class came to the school hall to guess what the items/activities in the blurred photos on the screen.
- To motivate students to speak in English on campus, two English Speaking Days were held in February. Students had to read aloud a short excerpt to an English Ambassador to get a sticker. Each student has a stamp collection card for collecting the stickers. They can redeem prizes throughout the whole school year.
- At the English Game Carnival, there were a total of 20 checkpoints in total for students to challenge where they could learn English through fun games.
