Kudos to the 3D Poem Writing Competition & Exhibition for Secondary 4 students! This activity provided students with a unique opportunity to learn English through poetry, research great Chinese people who have contributed to the world/society, and unleash their creativity by creating 3D objects collaboratively.
Each student wrote a poem about a famous Chinese person who has made significant contributions in their respective fields. Working in groups of 3 or 4, each group either described four aspects of one famous Chinese person or four people who contributed to the world/society in the same profession/field through poetry and created an art piece to exhibit their poems. The two best works from each class were selected to enter the inter-class competition.
All eight entries were displayed in the school for all teachers and students to appreciate and vote for their favourite one. This activity received positive feedback from both students and teachers, who appreciated the students' creativity and artwork.
We would like to congratulate all the participants for their hard work and dedication. The 3D Poem Writing Competition & Exhibition was a great success, and we hope that it has inspired students to appreciate the beauty of arts and English poetry.
